    Alan has been representing the Singer Family for 40 years in the Sales Department. Alan has had a tremendous impact by working first hand with almost all of our satisfied customers. Alan was the leading salesman for many years under the guidance of his father Irving Singer, founder of Merchants. Now, Alan remains dedicated to the quality of the Merchants product by overseeing the entire Sales Department.

    Marcus grew-up in Keene NH. He graduated from Keene High School and then went on to NHTI in Concord. After graduating with an Associates Degree in Marketing and Sports Management, he then went on to New Hampshire College/Southern NH University where he graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Marketing. 

    During his early years at Merchants, he was one of the elite Salespeople by treating people with tremendous respect and creating a great car buying experience. He then went on to become the Internet Sales Manager. He was able to lead Merchants with the latest technology and develop a website that is easy to navigate, provide tremendous information to the consumer and a website that was very user friendly. With his new leadership, he is dedicated to enhancing the level of service at Merchants and continuing to make Merchants Automotive Group the premier destination to purchase a pre-owned vehicle.

    Steve is a new addition to the Merchants family.  He comes to us with previous experience with the automotive world, but also has 30 years of sales experience in other areas.  Those areas include:  Director of internal sales for a world wide accounting software company to Divisional Manager at Dun & Bradstreet as well as fifteen years as an executive recruiter in the high tech world.

    We feel that Steve's rounded background provides him with all the skills necessary to provide our customers with the service that they come to depend on at Merchants Auto.

    Denis Gill comes to us with 25 years selling new and used cars.  Denis spent seven years with the US Army from 1976 to 1983.  He has two daughters and one granddaughter.  Denis is an outdoor person and likes to run, cycle, kayak and go boating.  He competed in the Boston Marathon in 1996.  Denis likes to travel and prefers to spend that time in the Caribbean.  He has Bachelors in Business Science from Daniel Webster College.  Denis is a resident of Deerfield NH and has been for the past 10 years.  From 1990-2000 Denis had his own company Gill Distributing Company.  From years of selling, Denis has honed his selling practice to be knowledgeable and low pressure for and easy experience.

    Larry was born on Columbus Day,1950,in South Ozone Park-Queens,NY. He graduated from grade school and attended college out in Mineola,Long Island. He has two wonderful Sons living in L.A. and "just can't wait" to become a Grandparent someday. He also has two cats and a dog,loves sports,and enjoys biking,shooting pool,and playing ping-pong. He's a very animated person with a great sense of humor !

    Larry is a new addition to the Merchants family as a sales representative. He brings to us over 20 yrs. experience in car sales from selling mostly brand new Honda automobiles and various other pre-owned vehicles. Prior to his
    career in the auto industry,Larry was a bartender for 15 yrs. in the nigthclub arena,so needless to say he extremely enjoys intermingling with all walks of people.

    He firmly believes that the buying process should definitely be a pressure free "and" pleasant experience for the customer.....and he takes great pride in making sure that's exactly what will happen.

    Mel comes to us with 29 years of selling Toyota products.  A New Hampshire native from Northwood who now lives in Concord, Mel and his wife Barbara have been married for 23 years.  On nice days and weekends they both love to ride their motorcycles and enjoy beautiful NH roads less traveled.  They have a daughter Amber who is a hair dresser in Concord.  Mel is a New England sports fan and enjoys watching the Redsox, Patriots, Bruins & Celtics when ever he can.  In his spare time he plays the drums with his band Fat City Blues of which he's been a member for sixteen years.  Mel's philosophy on selling cars is for the process to be painless and no pressure.  He hasn't forgotten what it's like to buy a car and understands how important a decision it is to make that big purchase.
